The 38th Annual Amador County
AAUW Home Tour “Vintage Volcano” in April 2010 was a great success.
Thank you to all who helped make our April 2010 Home Tour in “Vintage Volcano” such a success. This annual event supports the Amador Branch scholarship program benefiting local girls and women. We send several seventh-grade girls to Tech Trek, a summer math-science camp, and provide scholarships at the community college, upper division and graduate levels.
The 39th Annual AAUW Amador Branch Home Tour will be held in picturesque Sutter Creek, a Gold Rush town located on historic Highway 49. Several homes will be featured along with historic sites, a tea with homemade cookies, an art show, and wine tasting.
Plan to join us on Saturday, April 16, 2011, from 11 a.m. to4 p.m. for our next Home Tour!
The 38th annual AAUW Home Tour featured four homes and several historic sites. AAUW members hosted an art show, a wine tasting, and a tea in a beautiful private creekside garden—all under a cloudless spring sky.
